was the inquiry i got upon sitting in my office looking studious. presumably this student meant Dr. M, a philosophy prof one floor above me.
later i got a knock on the dept. office door, where i ushered in two young men who told me they "needed to fax something to laurie." we have no fax machine, we have no one named laurie in the office, and apparently, we have no one but me to be a mouthpiece for that message. sigh.
on an upnote, i watched the most body-positive show i've seen in some time on W TV (it's a canadian channel and a british show). plusses for showing real women, double plusses for showing them in various states of undress.
