My son is smart....not like I am bragging cause it has nothign to do with me really
yesterday we took my mother out for a nice brunch...not ihop style or anything...but a really nice brunch place.
My mom as usual ordered hot tea. She then began to show alex how too make tea with a teabag, as we alsways use loose tea this was new to him. He was fascinated to see her dunking the bag in and out of the water.
in the end when she was draining the teabag and about to add cream and sugar, alex stated, 'well the bag has sacrificed. It gave all its flavor to the water so it could make tea' and then sighed and sat back and watched my mother prepare the tea.
wow...he is amazing....i never would have used it in that context but he was right...
he loves words, and asks constantly their meanings.
During our prenap sing time, he asked why the wong says 'twas grace that taught my heart to fear'
it was a very interesting discussion and in the end he said 'I am glad Jesus gives me grace, i dont like being afraid.'
i wanna be like alex when i grow up
amazing alex
