"You know, you could be putting that on your PSP"
I believe I facepalmed at that moment.
Courtesy of a slightly used copy of Toast 8, I've been downloading Battlestar Galactica episodes from the family Tivo to my iMac and onward to my Video iPod. Nice, but kinda small screen. Still, it's been enabling me to catch up on the latest season during my lunch at work.
Last night, I'm downloading "Ties That Bind" (ep 4 for those of you keeping track at home), and I make a comment over my shoulder about how long it takes iTunes to convert an hour long program. He turns around, and says the line at the beginning of this post. And I did what was in the next line.
Because, you see, you don't have to convert with a PSP - it shows MP4s just the way they are. AND (here's a major plus) it has a bigger screen than my Video iPod. Not to mention better battery life.
'bout time I put that 4Gig Memory Stick to use - for something besides downloaded games.

I'm sitting at my desk, thinking I really should be writing something, but what am I doing, besides posting here?
I'm watching him play Half-Life 2...and listening to him talk back to the screen...and occasionally glimpsing down at my old, sleeping dog...
*sigh*
But at least I caught this while watching him play:
Alex (a character in the game): You're a man of few words.
Him (to the screen): I have lines?
If only I was that good with the comebacks...
