We ducked down a somewhat abandoned hallway for a moment, to both find a restroom and to avoid the extremely overcrowded mall for a few moments. The already ever-present Christmas music was playing over the PA system (which we hadn't even heard in said overcrowded mall), and the humor of the current selection was not lost on me (1) :
Oh the weather outside is frightful, But the fire is so delightful, And since we've no place to go...
I decided to join in on the last line. "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" Of course, my version was rather loud, and extremely off-key.
It took him a moment to say anything, but I could definitely hear the smirk in his voice when he did. "I wonder what it would take to get it to snow in here."
We both glanced up at the ceiling for a moment. "Well, I could probably do something to get the sprinklers going, but my alchemy skills are not what they used to be."
I actually heard him giggle a bit.
We continued walking down the hallway, both equally grinning at the thought of snow in the mall. He turned to me right before we reached our goal, and proved to me that he's as much a geek as I...
"You know Ed could (2)."
I looked at him, and smiled.

Notes:
(1) Probably because it was 70 and sunny here today. And if it was to ever actually do more than think about snowing here, civilization would come to a complete halt.
(2) Yes, he made a Fullmetal Alchemist reference. *evil grin*
