Humble Knowledge about Corea!
It a good thing to always learn something new and today I really did learn something new. Thought of sharing with you guys XD
Today morning, I was chatting with a group of colleagues about the movie IP MAN, she was telling us that the story line is base on real life story and it about past history.
Tapping on the word "history", we chatted about the world war II, about how cruel Japanese were back then. She further added on that the other time she went to Korea, some of the local there still hates the Japanese. <-- Not the main point of learning, ok it coming!!!
And she say this:
Korea used to be spelled as Corea but the Japanese wanted it to be Korea instead as letter "C" is before the letter "J". Thus Japanese replace it with the letter "K" (which is behind of "J" )
Thus till today some of us may be wondering why Korean spell their Country wrongly... <-- Nope they didn't spell it wrongly, it probably just that they take pride of their country's orginal name.
