Well last year for lent I gave up the internet and sweets for lent. It was really good for me to not be on here wasting all my time, so I've decided to sort of do that again. I'm still going to use the internet, but Im not going to go to any of my blogs (myspace, livejournal, xanga) for the entire lent season

i havent decided yet... but the time is drawing close... i really want to take part in it with a catholic church, but i have no idea what im doing and i am so busy... not to mention i have class on wens.

ok, i prayed about it and decided... I am also giving up sweets, tobbacco, and I'm going to fast every monday (straight water and no media), and I just talked to my catholic buddy so I am going to participate with him in all the lent stuff and he'll walk me through it all.

dang, thanks for the reminder, i almost forgot about it (like i did last year)

haha, yeah... I did think about that but i wanted to go with someone because I would have no idea what I am doing or what's going on... I'll have to skip class, but I should be able to work around it... will kind of suck but it is a "religous" holiday.

what time is your class? I bet theres a couple ash wednesday services at Our Lady of the Rosary...maybe. If not theres tons of Catholic churches in that area and usually lots of different times for services...morning...afternoon and evening. Thats neat though.
