So life in Camden is pretty sweet so far. I suppose that Im still trying to find where I fit; where my place is. Its also a bit hard being in a place without any close friends, but hopefully some of my new friendships will turn into stronger bonds. Other than that its really cool. Tomorrow is a "family gathering" where people from all over the place are coming to hangout for a weekend. Im pretty excited about that. I also started on my zine last night. I just did like 2 pages, but it feels good to start on something.
The other day I got to go over to the simple way and work with shane caliborne and some of the other fine folks over in kensington, Philly. We cleaned out a lot thats going to be used for a community garden (i found like 4 syringes...not good!), painted over some graffitti, bagged up groceries for some neighbors and passed them out. It was really cool. Ive been working with new...I guess shes my boos. Anyway Ive been working with the girl who runs the garden and greenhouse the past couple days and I actually need to leave to go do that now!
