I'm never going to be really ready, but come on in. Just like at anyone's home, there's always more to do, or furniture to still move, or something.
Back door, from carport - This is our mudroom. The door you see goes to the office.
That's the mudroom closet, and it's awesome. Here it is with the doors open. We've got more shoe shelves, we just have to move the ones that are in there a little closer together so we can fit them in. We think we have room for two more.
To the left is the pocket door to Scott's tiny office:
Pocket door open:
Secret shame, to the right and then the left.
The office kind of became the junk depot. We need to work on that. The rolltop desk is Wilma's and will go back to her house when she can move in. The green desk just needs to go. Then, Scott wants to get a single desk he likes.
To the right/straight ahead. The door on the right leads in to the pantry, which is handy when you're carrying in groceries. If you go through the open doorway straight ahead, on the left is the door to Fletcher's room. If you turn right, you go down a hall that leads to the kitchen. There is a bathroom on the left side of the hall just before you reach the kitchen.
The door to the left toward the end of the hall goes to Fletcher's Mickey Mouse bathroom
And here's the kitchen. It's awesome and I love it so much. Look! A place to set things when you take them out of the oven. And a place for the stepstool to keep from tripping over it! Places for all the appliances on the countertops and STILL plenty of empty counter space to work with! Awesome.
The open doorway is the pocket door that goes to the pantry. It's the chalkboard door on which we have our baby countdown.
The door at the end of the shelving there is the one that leads into the mudroom.
Extra fridge and stand up freezer in the pantry.
The other side. We need to install some more shelving here. We'll get to that some day.
If you stand in the kitchen and look back down the hall, the Mickey Mouse bathroom is on the right and Fletcher's room is at the end:
Fletcher's room (gotta get a little color on the white part of the walls):
Still have a tote to unpack. Closet door on the left, door to the hallway on right.
And that's a pocket door that goes to my closet.
Inside Fletcher's closet:
Back in the kitchen, looking toward dining room, then living room:
The first doorway on the left is the utility room. The next one at the far end goes to the basement.
Utility, when there is laundry that needs to be put away. The door opposite goes to my closet.
Living room, you've seen this before:
This is the other side of the living room, behind the red couch:
The first door past the stairs on the left is the half bath. The open door straight ahead is the master bedroom. Half bath first:
Cupboard under the stairs:
Master bedroom. I need a bedskirt, and some nice night stands.
The baby stuff will move. The dresser and mirror are Wilma's and will be going back to her house when her remodel is finished.
Door on the left goes to my closet (yes, that's the third door you've seen that goes to my closet - there's one more) and the one on the right leads to the master bath. The cabinet/armoire thing is Wilma's and will go back to her house.
You've seen Baby Brother's corner. Here's the rest of my closet:
You can't see it, but on the left, in the middle, is a door from the closet to the master bath.
I forgot to take a pic of the master bath, but here it was, still kind of under construction. We have the changing table in there now:
This is looking from the doorway of the master bedroom toward the living room:
Go upstairs:
The end table is not staying. The open doorway goes to the guest bedroom.
This door goes to the upstairs porch. Past the stair railing is the door to the bathroom and then Ethan's bedroom.
Upstairs bath
Ethan's room (it's the room over the master bedroom). Again, Wilma's furniture will be leaving.
Ethan's closet:
The closet doors on the left go to the upstairs hvac - it's a closet within a closet!
Guest bedroom:
The door goes to the upstairs porch.
The totes in the closet... four or five are full of yarn, some are Fletcher's outgrown clothes I am keeping for Baby Brother, some are pics, some are things that need to unpack and we just ran out of time.
