Late sometime last year we were thinking about you.

Did you know...

That every time I hear the word correlation I think of Anberlin's song "The Unwinding Cable Car."
That lists like these make me think of Dan Truman.
That people getting passionate about something encourages me to be passionate about it with them.
That I really want my life to have meaning and a purpose.
That I more often start conversations in my mind and never speak them out loud.
That my Mom used to hate the song "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer.
That I don't understand how people can watch so much TV.
That I often break promises with myself.
That I didn't own my first personal cd until 7th grade.
That I pay attention to a lot because on our People to People trip Jade and mine's friend Holly was always pointing things out to us. In some ways, I think she taught me how to see.
That I sometimes miss people I never really knew.
That I think the hardest thing I've ever had to go through is becoming less to someone whom I used to mean so much to.
That I think I like traveling so much because doing different things makes going back to the same thing different.
That the thing that amazes me about music is it's almost always something I could've said myself, I just never put it as eloquently as the bands I love do.
That I think if you're not willing to talk to me the way I'm available, I think you don't want to try that hard to be my friend.
That usually I'm pretty aware of what I'm doing and how I affect people.
That I often put off things trying to do them in a box, without any distractions, and find that I most often distract myself.

Did you know...

I'm allergic to fake metal.
I still don't like peanut butter.
Or peanuts really.
I don't like spending money on food.
I really enjoy the punctuation of periods.
I find reality shows incredibly amusing.
If I love a band or cd, I'll listen to it over and over again, the whole way through for weeks and weeks.
I don't like wearing much jewelry.
I think cheerios are the greatest cereal on earth.
I think there are some really creative people out there who have found their forte in the entertainment industry.
I keep old movie tickets and fortunes from Chinese resturants, because once on an old episode of Arthur Buster showed him a box he had of fortunes, and he would go through and check off the ones which came true and someday I am going to do that.
I have a journal (which Sammy made me) that I write down quotes and poems and song lyrics in, things that stick with me.
I really only use my iPod and iTunes now, but I like to have the original cds anyway.
I say blast all the time because Sarah Steyer used to say it.
I read books from cover to cover because Dan once told me he did it, and I've never been able to not since.
I keep a notebook full of all sorts of lists.
I also have a dream diary.
And a journal to God, or rather, me unedited fully.
As well as a journal to my future husband. (I don't write in them all that much though.)
There are some books that I consider my friends, and have really shaped who I am. Or stories at least.
There is a part in Ella Enchanted where Prince Char tells Ella that he wants her to know the bad about himself, as well as the good. I remember that sometimes.
I say carp because of Dan Truman.
The word proverbial makes me think of Relient K and "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been."

Did you know...

That all I really want out of life is to be in love and to follow Gods will in our lives together.

thoughts, dan, sarah, rk, did you know, music, memories
