Writing goals.

So, a few months ago I remember talking about how I was going to make a new list of goals, and when I did, I think I said I would update about them. Regradless or wether or not I actually said it once, the other night I was writing in my prayer journal after a short period where I hadn't been. In fact I hadn't really been writing at all, which is another short blib in itself, but I started writing down things I wanted to do with my life. So here they are, in the order I thought of them:

1. Develop my writing skills in a fuller way.
2. Try my hand at acting, at least once.
3. Go to Australia to visit Han.
4. Go to Montana to visit Jade.
5. Go to O.K. to visit Crystal and Melissa.
6. Stay off msn and myspace for at least a week, maybe a month.
7. Find a college to go to after Mat-Su and UAA.
8. Find my calling in life and my desires in God.
9. Clean my room and organize everything.
10. Expand my literary horizons. Read more books.
11. Expand my cinematical horizon. Watch a larger variety of movies.
12. Figure out who and what to believe.
13. Lose sarcasm. Really.
14. Devote everything to God. And have the real heartfelt fesire to do so.
15. Have faith in people.
16. Go to my last camp.
17. Get a real job.
18. Go on a cruise.
19. Have a boyfriend.
20. Fall in love.
21. Save money for a house and car.
22. Get everything done on my to-do list.
23. Become a published author. Write something worth reading, by the multitudes.

A few days later I realized why I write in paper journals so little. It's because I think way too fast for how fast I hand write. It takes a lot of patience to hand write my thoughts, or collect them, although actually I tend to just write whatever I think in those cases. Just, period. Instead of collecting my thoughts in one idea, it is just all over and in the moment. In that way I don't ever really explore ideas that I'm thinking about, I just think. But when I write disciplinedly, I keep my train of thougts on a topic. Much harder to do on paper.
I also think my way of writing has changed a little. I don't know. Maybe not.

Lately all I've been doing is hanging out with people, talking to people, loving on people, writing, and expanding my literary and cinematical horizons. At the moment, we really like Jodi Picoult and 80's movies. :)
