So I'm really busy lately and as it's already 10:40 and I still have quite a bit of homework to do tonight I just wanna give a quick little update.
God is really cool.
My life is quite the bit stressful what with all of this stuff going on. I got home at seven tonight and still had homework and a math project tomorrow, not to mention that I won't be home until that late again tomorrow and I have AP tests on both Wednesday and Thursday.
But God is comforting. He is my refuge. I was in a bad mood most all morning, mostly because of the math project, and I'm pretty sure people could tell (normally I'm pretty good at hiding it, I think) but then after school while we were waiting for rehearsal to start I put my iPod on instead of listening/watching and listened to the new Kutless cd which I had just recently aqcuired and the song Promise of a Lifetime was what was on and it was really touching. It would have made me cry, but I was also almost half asleep, but it definitely made my heart cry out to God, and it was really special.
In other news, I saw (haha) saw Saw II this weekend, and it was kind of sad because I could see where the psycho killer was coming from with his reasoning and all. Like, I don't know, besides killing all the people I didn't think his point was completely rediculous.
But also, I don't like scary movies at all, so I was a little freaked by the movie, but when I got home I was reading in Psalms and I found a plethora of versus that were very comforting. And it was really nice.
Also, had a thought, you know how people always say you should live every day as if it were your last? What would you actually do if you knew you were dying and that you were only going to have one more day to live? It was kind of sad, but my first thought wasn't of spreading the Word. I wonder if it should have been...
But!
After this week, things will slow down a little bit.
And I only have four weeks left of school, 18 actual school days left.
And my birthday whence I become no longer a child is one month from yesterday, AND it's on HAPPY WEDNESDAY.
