So today during my government class I got a note from the office telling me there was an envelope up there for me. I was astonished. Who would send me a note and what would it say?
I walked to the office, and it turned out that a bunch of people had gotten the same note. What did it mean we wondered?
One of our old teachers, in middle school, probably sixth grade, had us write a list of goals, and now that we're seniors, has sent them to us.
These were mine:
1. I want to catch up on sleep.
2. To get a 4.0 in all my classes.
3. To move out of Alaska and live in a foreign country for atleast 6 months.
I must say, that I was not a very eloquent writer and my academic skills have vastly improved since then. In fact, I recall being awful at grammar in sixth grade... I didn't even like writing until like, last year maybe.
As to actually accomplishing those goals, this is what has come of it:
1) Well, I have in fact slept more since then. A lot more. But I'm still not doing so hot about getting good sleep regularly. Although.. well, I'm probably worse than I used to be actually. I need my sleep.
2) I haven't gotten a 4.0 in all my classes, but I do have a 4.0. I actually... have always been a mostly A's but some B's student. Like, I've worked a lot harder in high school to get rid of those B's, and all of the ones I have had have been like 89.3% but still. Whatever.
3) Well I OBviously have not accomplished this yet. But it's cool because I have been out of the country three times since middle school, and this is still something I would like to do.
All in all, it has inspired me to write new current goals to save for some fun reading sometime after college, marriage or kids. I shall post it later when it is made.
Also, Happy Birthday Jonathon!
Two months until D.C.!
