I maintain lds_inspiration to which you applied.. I am always curious about new people who join my communities, so I peaked at your journal, and I'm astounded how many common interests we have even if I don't have them all listed on my info. I would REALLY like the chance to get to know you better because we share many of the same TV show, book, and movie interests as well as a shared interest in writing.

I hope that my grammar and spelling are good enough. I do not always use all the grammar rules about sentences and such in my journal as I prefer to write the way my mind thinks. If thing are misspelled it's almost always due to typo rather than spelling mistakes. (I frequently have a child on my lap or am in a hurry while typing)

And now a little about me..

My name is Lisa, and I am 28, the mother of 2 children, LDS, and a creative kind of soul. I am a stay at home mom, and rather enjoy it. I have been working on rekindling my creativity and writing lately. I will have been married 3 years this March 14th to the man of my dreams. I currently live in Utah but plan to move elsewhere when hubby is done with school. I am the oldest of 7 children, and grew up in a tiny mountain town in AZ. My parents have always called me a dreamer. I'm not sure what all to say other than most of my friends tell me that I'm very encouraging, genuine, and sweet personalitywise.

I understand that your time is limited online. Med school has a tendency to dominate one's life. I would not be offended if you were not able to comment all the time, I understand that and many of my friends are much in the same boat for various reasons.

I would really like the opportunity to get to know someone I seem to share a great many interests with. = D

BTW.. I think your journal layout, colors, and theme are darling! You have me craving those movies/books again now. I even live on a street named "Anne" with an E. ;)

Hi Lisa!

It's great to meet you and I would honored to friend you! You seem incredibly nice and already we have so much in common. I can't wait to discover what else there is--reading your info page, I see you dislike tomatoes as well! Now, I know we are kindred spirits!

And no worries about the grammar--you will find this journal is a mess of typos and sentences ending with prepositions. That rule was mostly added to keep away those who haven't realized that the shift key or the period exist. You give me complete sentences--that is enough!

I haven't had any LDS communities on my flist and decided to change that, hence stumbling across your community. :) In case you were wondering.

My time online varies depending on how busy my rotations are, but I read all of my LJ friends journals--it just might take me a couple of days to get to it. And I'm bad at commenting, but that's my New Year's Resolution so I'm a tiny bit better.

May I ask what tiny mountain town you are from in Arizona? I was born in Tucson, myself, and half of my family still lives down there. And then we moved to a tiny town in Utah (250 people) so I know what that is like! And I do want to hear more about your writing efforts--I feel like I'm struggling so much in that department and love talking to people about their difficulties.

Oh, and I saw on your journal something about being on different filters--I don't mind being on them all, I love learning about the different aspects of my friends' lives.

I'm addicted to Anne--it's the red-hair resonance. I've been toying with the idea of changing my layout since I've had it from months, but I can't bring myself to take down Anne. Still waiting for my Gilbert. Sounds like you've found yours. :)

So nice to meet you!

oh don't worry about late commenting or not having the time. I write a lot in my journal and I don't expect everyone to be able to comment on everything. That's a little silly. So when you're able you're able. I have some friends who comment a week late or so depending on their lives. It's all good.

The tiny mountain town is a bit bigger than 250! hehe.. it's more like 6500-7000 and it's called Eagar and it's sister town Springerville or combined known as Round Valley. It's up in the white mountains near Show Low and Sunrise Ski Resort.. Greer.. all that fun stuff.

My writing efforts.. well you're right on time to watch me struggle and squirm and wiggle my way back into them from the very start. Years ago.. back about 8 years ago, I stopped writing when I hit a major depression episode and then I never picked it back up again. I just had my second baby the day after Christmas and have been struggling a little with some postpartum depression stuff so I decided on the advice of a friend from high school to try my old hobbies again, and one of them is writing. So I created a community for all my creative efforts of all types including writing. You're welcome to join but there's nothing there yet, just an intro post. It's called enchantedhollow. Long ago I had a fantasy type story going, and I might continue with that after I rework some parts, but I have lots of story ideas and am not sure which one to pursue at the moment. So.. there you go.. I'm just starting out on the writing adventure again, but it's always nice to have friends who write and love to write. My friends and I in high school hung out in the library a lot and we had a writing club. that should give you a little more background on me and writing.

Sure.. I'll gladly add you to all the filters.

You know, my absolute favorite thing about Anne is how colorful her descriptions and vocabulary area.. I fell in love with the very beginning part where Matthew took her home along what she called "The White Way of Delight". I LOVE blossoms!! She's also melodramatic at times, and my mother told me once I reminded her of Anne. Red hair rocks though, I have 2 redheaded sisters and was a redhead as a baby before I went blond.

Awww.. waiting to find your Gilbert.. you know ... in the movies he was CUTE. Yes I did find mine.. and .. you'll LOVE this! He has dark wavy hair, and says "Sorry" just like Gilbert does! It makes me giggle.
