Friday 13th - happy happy moistness
Those that know me know I have a couple of consoles (Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii)...those that know me well know I'm a bit of a closet gamer. I used to be a bit more hardcore before I moved to Australia (and discovered how fun life can actually be if you step outside your front door once in a while ;-))
Anyways, I'm SERIOUSLY looking forward to the launch of Resident Evil 5 this coming Friday 13th March!
Not least because I actually spent a few hours playing the only code version in Australia a couple of months ago. Before the local distributors for Capcom went into liquidation they appointed my team and I to handle the public relations and stunts around the launch of RE5 and it's sister title, Street Fighter 4. Unfortunately that meant spending a few afternoons playing the games on a 60" plasma TV with 7.1 surround sound - my job sucks ass sometimes :(
So to cut a long story short, this game frakkin rocks! I'm not normally the type to get moist about the latest survival horror game or freak out at blood'n'guts'n'stuff, but the three levels I played left me feeling somewhat anxious with the adrenalin coarsing through my veins in a way I normally associate it with fantastic, no-holds-barred sex!
Bring it on!
