History: Kenshiro was a hacker living in Transverse City (a megacity made up of the highways connecting Detroit to Chicago) in 2099 when he hacked in to the wrong databases and stole information that D/Monix did not want out there. He was tracked down, shot, and poisoned to ensure his death; he uploaded his mind in to cyberspace both to save himself and prevent his killers from retrieving the info. He was found shortly thereafter by the hidden artificial intelligences that make up the Ghostowrks, who asked him to be their avatar in the real world. They upload him in to a robot designed for battle with extensive modifications. His skeletal appearance and the holographic flames he can add cause the media to know him as "Ghost Rider" after the 20th century hero.

Personality: Kenshiro is a rebellious teen, even if he is no longer a teen. He hates authority almost as much as he hates his dad - and his dad is why he target's the D/Monix corporation (his dad is a high level employee). But he pretty much hates any authority - corporations, the government, other heroes, the Ghostworks. He's got a bad attitude towards anyone he can't count on - and he only feels he can count on hackers he has dealt with before.

Abilities and Resources: Kenshiro was always a good hacker; now that his mind is completely digitized, he's become almost the ultimate hacker. His Tech Mastery allows him access to computers, robots, and hackers around the world, as well as to a degree, the criminal underbelly related to that hacking, such as information brokers. His robotic body is very versatile and he is still discovering what it can do. He is also slowly coming to realize that his digital psyche is subject to reprogramming, and that Ghostworks has reduced his ability to think clearly in regards to certain issues, or develop plans to give him more independence from them.
