Well, this week has gotten off to a VERY interesting start, thanks to a pair of phone calls I've had.

In the last two days, I've spoken to my sensei from Nashville and to my grandmaster -- yours truly has been promoted!

Okay, you're probably not going to agree with this, but... what if the title recognizes what you're already doing? What if you did, in fact, dress for the job you wanted, only in this case you've trained/worked for the job you wanted.

You don't want to be head of the org, which is the only further step. You just want to keep studying, keep coming up with kata interpretations, keep sharing.

I think you're already doing what you're supposed to be doing. I don't think you have to push yourself harder.
