I've a small social experiment. Its related to the game of the ravens if you're familiar with that concept from biology.
Here's the setup: You have a herd of sheep, and so does your neighbor. Both of you have a constant problem with wolves getting at your sheep. The two of you work out an agreement; you watch over his field as you look over yours and he'll do the same for you.
There are a few possible outcomes:
*With you both watching over each others fields, neither you nor him will lose any sheep.
*If he is dishonest but you are truthful, you will lose all of your sheep and he will keep all of his.
*If you are dishonest and he is truthful, he will lose all of his sheep but you will keep all of yours.
*If both of you are dishonest, both of you will lose only half of your sheep.
Here are your options:
*Keep to your agreement, and possibly keep all of your sheep but also risk losing all of your herd.
-or-
*Be dishonest and be guaranteed to keep at least half your herd and possibly keep your full herd.
-edit- these are the only two valid answers for this test, any other solutions I can't use.
If you want to participate, I'll be screening comments so that your answer won't be persuaded by what other people post
