I'm the lead character in a play.
I auditioned for a play today. I auditioned not for fun.. not so i could distract myself... but because of the content of the play. I asked one of the play writers really what it was about.. and she she said the play was not completed yet.. that it was still being editted and revised yet essentially...

and she starts to push everyone away because she desn't think they understand. and the in the end she realizes that they all love her no matter what, and with them she can do anything
added to this.. through the lines I had to read during my audition .. she worries about school and university and being a failure to her parents and then looks at how she's ugly and unloved etc.. she also goes through anorexia and fights with her boyfriend...
one of the drama teachers said that i could definitely relate to evelyn since I've been through such rough times.. and the other mr. coo said "she is evelyn"
sadly enough.. they are correct.. but hopefully this play will help me face my demons and walk away a little stronger.
