So lay down on the couch and let me show you why I need you more than all the boys on your street.

I'm sitting here willing an email to appear in my inbox. So far, it's not working hahaha. But it does have me pondering why. I thought it would be here days ago... Okay not days, but a day or two ago. I got a separate corresponding email that has now left me wanting for the initial email even more. *checks again* Nope. (Imaging me popping the p for effect, 'cause I did when I typed it :) )

Thanksgiving came and went in casual fashion. We celebrated with Jamie's family on Saturday, because, for reasons that I can not make sense of, my MIL's neighbour decided to get married on Sunday. The reasons that don't make sense have to do with his choice of day, not his choice to get married LOL. Who gets married on a Sunday, and the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend when that majority of us Canadians are sitting around a table shoving our gobs full of turkey? Not me, that's for sure, but him, I guess.

We did "dessert for dinner" on Sunday - monkey bread, brownies, chocolate chip cookies and cheesecake. I felt like crap afterward, and I deserved it for putting so much sugar into my body. It was yummy, but not smart!

The one thing I noticed this weekend was that the colour in the leaves began to pop. Thursday/Friday all the trees were green. By today, tons of yellow and red. I always enjoy this part of fall. It's so pretty. It's hard not to feel peaceful when the world around you is so colourful.

And in case you're wondering, no, it's still not here. The email. Yes, I checked again. *le sigh*

I should probably go to bed. It's such a boring and unfun conclusion to reach at the end of the day.

I'm ramble-y. *grins*

That doesn't bode well for the plan to sleep. Oh well, what else is new?

*sync* Nope, still no email. I think it's a conspiracy!
