I dont write in here as often as I used to. This is partly because of the blogs in myspace. So join myspace people because it is taking over my life for the journaling. Ok well friday was city employees appreciation day at herman park center. I was a volunteer so I sat at the table registering people before they got their blood sugar screening for two hours. I didnt win any door prizes which sucks. They had the truck from Booze It and Loose It in the parking lot so I wore the goggles and walked the line. That shit was hard as hell. As soon as I had them on I felt like I was falling. It was a tiring day at work and I just didnt feel well come 5 o'clock.
I found out that according to the new employee manual for every hour of overtime we work we are entitled an hour and a half of comp time which is fucking fabulous. So after hershey track and field ( I will work 8 or 9 hours) I will have earned 12 and a half hours. That is great. That means I can take them memorial day weekend and peace out to the beach. I really really really really need the beach and well Josh commented on my myspace about how he wanted to come with. That will be fun.
As I was leaving the center Jeff Winbush (the sorry athletics director) yelled for me across the parking lot. He wanted to introduce me to this guy that works for him part time. Some 23 year old that works for the radio station and part time for parks and rec athletics. Everyone at work is trying to fix me up with people. Apparently no one can stand to see me single. Tammy tried it with this guy that came in to see her on monday or tuesday (I told her I got a gay vibe from him which just offended her). Lorice has her hopes up for introducing me to some young military guy volunteer at special olympics this week.
Speaking of this coming week. I am singing the national anthem at the opening ceremonies for the Senior Games on monday at The Pines and on wednesday and thursday for the special olympics at Dillard Track. I hope I dont fuck it up. It has been a while since I have sang for anyone.
ok well I guess I am going to go get something to eat and what not.
