Well I called the rental office yesterday about the house I was interested in only to hear them tell me it has been rented. Now I called them earlier in the month about the house and they told me I couldnt do anything about that house until the tenant moved out and they were set to vacate April 6 so to call at the end of the month to set up an appointment. So I was just doing what they told me to. Well someone went to the house and knocked on the door and the lady let them in to see it and put a deposit down. That is crap. So no three bedroom house on New Hope Rd.
So I started to get worried. I mean I have a month until I have to move and I will be homeless. Everyone at the center started helping me. Lorice called the base and pretended she was me and lied about how I had a military id and that my father was air force retired. (not so far from the truth, I dont have an id and my father is discharged air force) They werent much help though. Most everything was out of my price range.
Well Stasia came in and said she had a senior who rents houses so she would call her. Turns out her houses are rented out. Lorice pulls out the phone book and stars going through realtors telling them she is my mother and she is trying to help me find a place. She finally calls Lily Sutton who she knows from when she was trying to buy a house. She has a 2 bedroom house in a nice quiet safe neighborhood for $450 a month. So she told me she would be happy to take me to it to see it. I am supposed to call her today after 9am and she will come to Herman Park Center and pick me up to take me to see the house. She was soo nice and she said if I liked the house I could move in right away. So today I have to ask how much the deposit is and tell her that my lease is up April 30th and I cant afford to pay double rent and my father is coming down the end of april to help me move. Lorice says she will work with me because she is a very nice lady.
We'll see.
I just hope this pans out because I am getting tired of thinking I am going to be homeless.
