Hot and Burnt
MY GOD!! I called maintenance for my AC and they said:
"Well, it's gonna be a minute..."
*As I slow roast in my own juices*
They have to order an entirely new unit! So I continue to cook.
Tonight is a night at home, and I love it. I've been running around so much lately that the change is quite soothing. My friends are so nice to me, stopping by just to say hi. Of course, the leave very shortly for fear that they too will be driven mad by the heat of my apartment. The social scene (aka, the Abbey) has burnt me out. Don't know why exactly, but it's probably only momentary, but aaaaa, this alone time is nice ;-).
I continue to pine away for the bf. He calls me daily, such a faithfull heart. I have to remember to call HIM tomorrow though; no small chore to someone with my memory. Well, I'm off to take a cool bath.
