fall break '06
It's already tuesday night and I feel like I've wasted the past 4 days (fall break) because I didn't get everything done on my list that I wanted to get done. Here's a breakdown on what I was up to this 4-day weekend:
Friday:
Simmered in my loneliness until 9:30pm when I went to Slugger's Dueling Piano Bar with Lissa. That was...interesting. We saw one drunk guy pole dance and another drunk guy give a bride-to-be a lap dance/striptease. The horrified look on the mother's face that was there was priceless.
Saturday: Gave tours of the campus. Talked to Katie T. Went to the library. Took a nap. Went to Church at St. Ignatius. Got dinner in Evanston with Keith and Katie. Watched "One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest" at Keith's.
Sunday: Worked concessions at the Bear's game for my fraternity's fundraiser. I basically filled nacho things from 8:00am-4:30pm. But the day went by fast because we were pretty busy. I got a ride home. I worked out for the first time in a month. I picked up Sara from the airport. Sara, Rose, Cassie, and I tried Mud Slides at my place.
Monday: Went halloween costume shopping with Sara. I got pretty much my entire costume for less than $6. I'm going to be Ron Burgandy, and it's going to be pretty sweet. Monday night Sara and I went over to Tim's and played Beer Pong. Later on we meant to watch a movie, but that didn't happen because sara's room was haunted.
Tuesday (today): I basically woke up, went running, went to the grocery store with angela, did homework, had dinner, and did more homework. Today I realized that I have a lot due in the next couple of weeks and I didn't get ahead in my schoolwork at all.
Things I Have Left to Do/Didn't Get Done:
1) Write thank you notes to everyone who gave me a birthday gift.
2) Set up the wireless router so that I can get wireless internet in my room.
3) Figure out how to transfer music from my ipod to my computer.
4) Take my ipod in to be fixed.
5) Clean underneath my kitchen sink (it smells like mouldy ass)
6) Start my finance homework
7) Start my marketing scan that is due this friday
Since it's only a three day week, hopefully I will survive. Tomorrow I'm working concessions at Soldier Field again, but this time it's for the Rolling Stones concert. I won't get back 'till 2-3am, but hopefully it'll be worth it!
