After two weeks and two days, our planners STILL aren't in, so I took some initiative and I JUST uploaded most of my schedule onto Microsoft Works Calendar. This semester is going to extremely busy, but it helps me to breathe a little easier having everything written down in one place. I'm a visual person in that aspect. I do not have a single weekend without any obligations except for the weekend before finals, and you know I'm going to be studying that weekend anyways. I just hope that I don't get too caught up in this rat race to enjoy the things I'm doing and the people I'm doing them with.
Part of me is getting excited to turn 21. I told sara that sometime I'm going to buy a beer after class and drink it - just because I can, at 3:00pm in the afternoon. But I still don't know how to celebrate my birthday. I was thinking one night out at the bar(s) with friends who are 21 or have fakes and one night in the dorms partying with all the minors? But where should I go? On what nights? With who? Should I plan my own party or leave it up to my friends?
Kirsten joined the UN class/club at MCC, which means I'll hopefully get to see her in November...in Chicago! Speaking of Chicago, I really hope a lot of my friends can come and party in the city with me for New Year's. It'd be a blast!
Well, I have to get up in less than 5 hours...
