so back in mid-may, i applied for a job at SF MOMA just 'cos it was in my field and it's SF MOMA for pete's sake. i know that i don't want to go back to work full-time yet, which is what the advertised position was, but maybe, just maybe, i'd be up for a part-time gig, assuming i could find someone to watch milo. i didn't hear anything. until yesterday afternoon. i freaked out and didn't call back today 'cos i was too scared. they just called me. i have an interview on friday at 3:30. i figure i have nothing to lose, right? i don't have to go back to work, i can go in and say, here's the deal, i don't want to work full-time, what can you offer me. if nothing else, i get a behind-the-scenes tour and a chance to meet some nice museum folks.

i'm so torn. this is supposed to be a year to play with milo and explore SF. but it's SF MOMA!
