(no subject)
Pictures to follow (hopefully) but we went up to the snow yesterday on Mt. Hood. There was much frolicking in the snow (and rain), a fabulous snowman built, some sledding at the snow park, followed by hot chocolate at beautiful Timberline Lodge. Milo ate off all the "whipped pudding" (his word for whipped cream) and then took a sip of his drink and declared it spicy. I took a sip and was startled to find that it was not spicy, but was most definitely spiked!
The waitress was horrified and promptly brought a new one, with lots more whipped cream with pretty red and green sprinkles. (And offered to let us keep that one for us, but we declined - I didn't want to fall asleep on the drive home and Mac already had one) We forgot to check the bill to see if we were at least comped for his drink. Oh well, I guess that's the risk you take when you order hot chocolate at a busy bar that probably serves more "adult" hot chocolates than kid ones!
