Best way to contact many at once: I get a newsletter that covers theatre in the Pensacola area. She sent out this notice today. For those of you who are looking for a college esp one with theatre and fine arts this may be something you want to plan for:
Just be sure to contact them to let them know you're interested in attending. I called and they said this is open to anyone.
PLT's Young Artists' Association........"It is time for the monthly get together of Pensacola's brightest, most interesting, and best live performers and techies! Join us this Saturday, November 13 at 9:30-12:30 for November YAA. This month's topic is College theatre: BA, AA, BFA or BS? Guest speaker will be Rodney Whatley of PJC. We will have handouts from colleges and universities from all over the US. The focus, of course, will be schools that offer Theatre and other Fine Arts degrees, but we are up for all kinds of discussion and input. If you've gotten college material you'd like to share, bring it with you. Most of all, bring a friend. Remember, your first visit to YAA is as a guest. Pay your dues for the rest of the year and get free season tickets to PLT! Spread the word...there is power in numbers."
