Well, I didn't update for a while back there. I neglect this thing so badly.

Anyway, I've been busy doing nothing for the last few weeks. I had to go to my SAT school. That was...intense. We went from 8:30 to 1:30 with about 10 minutes of total down time. Then I would go home and start the arduous task of completing the five hours of homework. I did learn a lot though. My scores are WAY up, which is good. I feel that if I did as well on the SAT I'd be very, very content. I also had work.

Work is going...okay. I'm worried about Saturday though. A very close family friend is having their 50th wedding anniversary and it's a big deal. My family was invited and we RSVP'd and now I find out I have work. We RSVP'd months ago. Now I need to find a person at work to trade shifts with. I hate this kind of shit. I'm not looking forward to bringing it up. Two weeks ago I called in sick and had a friend from another store cover me, but if I do that again I feel really bad and I think it will reflect poorly on me in the manager's eyes. So I'll need to try to switch shifts with another closer. Bah.

Today was pretty fun. I went to the City with my grandparents and my sister. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory (love that sandwich) and we went shopping a bit. We just went to Tzara and H&M. Tzara's men department was just the same stuff in different colors, but H&M was good. So I got a few things there and we headed back into town.

I still need to finish Scarlet Letter. I really hate Nathaniel Hawthorne right now. It's just so rambling. Can't the guy finish a damn sentence within one hundred words? Run-on's are rampant in his boring book.

Trying to find a new haircut...it's difficult.

Took an aptitude like test on Princeton Review. It told me I should go to NYU. I'm skeptic on that idea. I also took a job placement type test and they gave me the options I was expecting, and the ones I wanted: Professor, Teachers, Lawyer, Writer, Pyschologist, Political Scientist, Anthropolgist, Sociologist, etc. The largest surprise? That out of all of those the regular public school teacher has the best starting pay.

I'm going to go kill myself trying to read Hawthorne. Later.
