(no subject)
ok , I think i have been over emotional lately from the stress of lack of money and not being sure if the tax would be back in time for rego, but now that its back i feel great, one less bill to worry about.
We have been thinking of looking for another job (dh)
as we are not really happy here, its not bad but not great, having the B.I.L as the manager of the farm sux and it doesn`t help that his wife (dh`s Sister) is a total cow. Brent doesn`t even like her- cant stand her actually and its his sister.
The house we are in is not great its ok but iv`e seen alot worse.The boss was here a minute ago and i asked him (again) about the pest control coming here or if not would he but me some of those huge pumpaction surface spray things and i would do it my self. He said he would look into it and get back to me.
To try and make him feel a bit more sympathetic i told him that i sweep and/or hose them all down every 4 or 5 weeks - its really every 2 months though. It takes so long and i get spiders dropping on me and a week later it looks like i have`nt done it.
The thing is if we go looking for another job my priorities are the condition of the house and the wage and benifits.
For those of you that aren`t familar with it, when you work on a cropping farm (out here) most jobs come with a house, electricity, work ute, a small amount of fuel a month etc. That makes the wage smaller but if you took the other things out of a normal income you`d be worse off.
It would be good to move to somewhere that i could get a decent job Ie not 70kms from town.
