How do I modify a too-cool Moen shower knob?

The landlord installed a new shower/bath controller knob a month or 2 ago. It has a max setting on it that's too cool for winter and we don't know how to adjust he.

He seems to claim that it isn't adjustable. I don't believe that.

Anyone have any advice?
