yay! for striving for excellence
So, I have less than a month left of classes at Miami Middletown. I just found out that if all I did was show up to English 112 and sit in the corner with my finger up my nose for the rest of the semester, I'd still pass with a C+. Hahaha. Yeah, like I can settle for that. I really want to send my college transcript to the school I'm transferring to in the fall and let them see that while I was in high school I earned a 3.825 college GPA, thanks to getting a 4.0 second semester. So what if the GPA doesn't transfer? No, I'm not a perfectionist or an overachiever; I simply enjoy striving for excellence and doing the very best that I can.
Although, I was told at the end of last semester when I pulled off a 3.6 not to get used to it. That encouraging word came from a current student at the school I'm going to in 4.5 months. Meh. I know of at least one freshman from this year who pulled off a 3.74 his first semester there. Of course, one of his classmates got a 1.9, but still! I know that it can be done. I just don't quite know what it'll take at this point.
