Weekend and the Week Ahead
Shnike and Biscuit were here this weekend. On Friday, they arrived after setting up Biscuit's art show at SUNY-Brockport. My parents were here as well, and we celebrated Pop's birthday with homemade lasagna and cake. By the way, a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Pops, Tree Woman, and BND. A big BIRTHDAY weekend. My parents left for Chicago on Saturday morning to visit their first grandchild, Little Eddie. Shnike, Biscuit, MG, and I hung around the house in the morning. Shnike went out to lunch with some friends while MG went for a long run. When Shnike and MG returned, we played "Apples to Apples" (a boardgame that Shnike loves) and poker. It was heavenly just sitting around the house, eating junk food, and talking and laughing. Heavenly. We went to Dick's around 6:00 for some Sabres gear for Shnib and Biscuit, and at 7:00, we met her friends at Fuji Grill for dinner.
Unfortunately, I was asleep on the couch at 10:30. The rest of the gang stayed up and talked.
Now, I am trying to do some worky work. No fun. MG and I worked out this afternoon, but it is so hard to do WORK. Oh well.
