Well, I am in my last week of my second trimester. Next week, I enter the third trimester, which means my biweekly visits to the doctor begin. The baby can recognize our voices and knows my voice the best (obviously). I can feel her kicking quite often and so can MG. He will have his hand on my stomach and I will be ask, "Did you feel that one? How about that one? Oh. . .there was a big one." In fact, we can even see the kicks happening. I love feeling her kick, especially when I am at work or in my car, zoning out. All of a sudden, I feel this *tap, tap, tap* and I am reminded that I have a little bun cooking.
She weighs over a pound now and she will gain 6-7 more pounds in the next three months.
We put a deposit down to hold her spot at a daycare. We visited three last weekend. I wasn't crazy about any of them, but at least we have one. The one we have appears to be the best (out of the three) and I did like the women who worked in the infant room.
Well, that is where we are right now. The nursery renovation begins over break. So do my revisions on my article! Doh! I think I will start my final grading tomorrow. I have:
--25 5-page papers
--25 finals
--11 finals
--18 4-page papers
--18 research papers
ARGH!
