i sent this email after a barrage of '9/11 conspiracy' callers.

usually you are a joy to monitor (yes - i listen to 2UE as part of my work), and you're generally a welcome change from Stanley or Price-y, but i have to say i'm very disappointed that you're giving the 9/11 conspiracy theorists a platform from which to spread their twisted interpretation of events.. thousands of people died on Sept 11, and islamic militants have claimed responsibility for it. in order to let those thousands of people rest in peace, we have to pursue those militants and bring them to justice. this will also ensure Sept 11 will never happen again.
what's next murray, having callers on the air telling you 'THE JEWS RUN AMERICA AND THEY'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR 9/11 AND ALL THE WORLD'S WARS'??

thank you, as i said, you're usually really pleasant to listen to. and since i don't have a choice, can you try to screen your conspiracy theorist callers a little better?? i understand the concept of 'everyone has a right to an opinion', but not when it's propogating social disunity, distrust of our democratic ideals and racist sentiments.

do you believe sept 11 was an act committed by the US or Israeli Govts for their own political ends??
or do you believe, like i do, that it was indeed the same Islamic militants that claimed responsibility for it?
i know we've seen this movie before, we've had this debate, said these words... but i feel like as long as someone is willing to claim that 9/11 was a US or Israeli conspiracy rather than a terrorist attack of an unimaginable size, it's my responsibility to remind everyone of the horrors of that day, and the cold, callous smile that spread across Osama's thin lips when he heard his plan had finally come to it's awful conclusion.
