well this is my old Abstract....we changed it cuz I written it the 1st person (meaning I was working alone) So U'll have to change it

My project is how the amount of microwave radiation would affect the germination of radish seeds. The purpose for this experiment was to determine whether or not the radiations from microwaves would have an affect on the germination of radish seeds. I thought that if radish seeds were micro waved for a different amount of time (seconds) then the seeds that are placed in the microwave oven for the lowest amount of seconds will sprout the longest. I based my hypothesis that way because I knew that microwaves were a type of electromagnetic wave used in cooking or heating devices, so microwaves would have a great effect on radish seeds causing them to cook. In this experiment I wanted to find out if these seeds would germinate if they were exposed to microwaves for an amount of time (seconds). During the process of this experiment, you must gather all materials, prepare six plastic germination chambers, and soak seeds in water for about 1 minute. Separate the radish seeds into 7 groups of at least thirty intact seeds in each group. Place each group of seeds into a Ziploc bag, then into the microwave oven for a different amount of time. Use times of 0 sec., 5 sec., 10 sec., 15 sec., 20 sec., 25 sec., and 30 sec. After exposing each bag into the microwave, mark each bag with the appropriate time of exposure and beginning date. Store the bags in an undisturbed place where there’s light. Observe the radish seeds in your bags daily for a “sprout’ or leaflets coming out of the seeds. On the seventh day, you are to count the number of seeds that you can see the “sprout”, don’t count them if there’s no sprout. Base on the results, it would indicate that I should accept my hypothesis because the seeds that were exposed to microwave radiation for a lower amount of time sprouted the longest. The results would show that there was not a big difference between the seeds exposed with less time then it would show with the seeds exposed to a greater time.
