I've been listening to this woman, Brene Brown, who researches shame, what causes it, and how it affects people. She ends up looking at how people are raised and how much shame they have, so this ends up dovetailing with kids. So, I spent the day in PS with Momo, at the gay pride festival. It was much fun. Lots of funky outfits, and one place was selling kilts. I was in love. >.> Lots of 'No on 8' signs, natch, and I finally got one (courtesy of Momo) to put on my deck. YAY! We had Sno Cones and listened to music and did a LOT of people watching.
