Ganzt referred to Aliz as a 'dead bird.' "Let's face it, Jenna, Aliz is really a dead bird."
It wouldn't have bothered me if he'd said "she is going to die," or "she is terminal" or anything like that. But given that I already feel he doesn't care about my bird (I do believe he cares about birds in general, and is doing his best to help all of them--I just don't think he cares about Aliz) and feel more like he sees her as a test subject, him saying that really bothered me.
(I was up until 1:30 am thinking about this... and I had to work today. Gah.)
It's this idea that since she's already dead, she doesn't matter. If she WERE already dead, Gantz and I wouldn't constantly be going rounds! But she's not dead, and I have to consider her quality of life and what will make her happiest; not how I can further the other birds. If they mesh, great. If not, I'm going to do what's best for Aliz.
Jesus, I'm still pissed.
It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't feel like he was lying to me half the time. I dont' think he is; I think the two of us can't seem to make each other understand what we're trying to say. I also think he's trying to dumb down information so I understand it, but consequently he adds details or leaves them out randomly, so I get a slightly different version every time.
AND I've caught him in lies; lies probably meant to make be feel better, but lies. The first day he said he thought Aliz had PDD he said they were putting her on Meloxicam, which MIGHT havea SLIGHT chance of stopping and even reversing PDD.
There is no chance. Not even if Satan learns to ice skate and cows and pigs have babies that fly. Do I think this was a mercy lie? Yes, but it makes me distrust him even more; espeically since it's SO very clear that he wants me to do the experimental drugs. AGH!
Right. I'm going to call someone now and rant some more. And have something to drink, so I sleep. :P
