Someone help me out, here.
Probably 8-10 years ago I read a fantasy novel I THOUGHT was called "Nobody's Fool" (not by Richard Russo). It was about what happens AFTER the peasant saves the princess and wins her hand in marriage -- how that peasant-now-king is treated by others, how he does or doesn't rule, etc. It was an awesome book, but I can't find it anywhere. I remember it having a blue and black cover, though that may have changed.
This sound familiar to anyone else?
