car troubles, and MY BOSS IS THE BESTEST ONE *EVER*
So, I took my Honda in. It needed to be serviced, and it was making a funny noise. Turns out Canadian Tire hasn't been doing what they said they were doing, so there's A LOT of things wrong with my car. *whimper* Luckily, the guy at the Honda is really nice. He's listing all these things, and he says, "Now, this is a lot of stuff. So, here is what's urgent, and here's what can wait."
Anyway. I told him I could take care of the URGENTNOWNOWNOW stuff, and some of the URGENT stuff as well. It's costing me about $1300 dollars... thank god for credit cards.
I called my boss to let her know I won't be in tomorrow (they still have my car) and told her what was going on. Her instant reaction? "Do you need money? I can loan you whatever. Like--$500? I can even do it online right into your checking account, right now."
I love my boss. MY BOSS IS THE BESTEST BOSS EVER.
(I told her I was okay, 'cause I am. I'm very, VERY broke, but I'm okay.)
Also, I have a paycheck waiting for me (only for about $300, but that's okay) and my boss is looking into getting me some extra shifts on Friday and Saturday. :) Phew.
