It was twenty years ago today...
...that "Time and the Rani" aired in the UK.
There's a surprisingly direct throughline between this event and me now living in Australia with my wife.
(She went to her first fanclub event to see season 24 before it aired down under; Sylv's arrival was responsible for my first piece of published fanfic, and eventually led to "Time Rift"; the intersection between these two developments led us to meet online. And I can still remember slogging through the slush to get to the DC-area club meeting where Greg and I eventually got to see the story. Pity it was crap.)
