May So far
Here are some of the goings on with me recently.
Photography: My class ended last week with the critique of our Final projects. Overall mine did have a couple of issues, but nothing in the critique really took me by surprise. Thanks again to shanna349 and kirkyg for being my subjects for this project. I am still trying to get a negative scanner so I can scan in all of my work from the semester and post it online. During the fall I will more than likely take another class, but I want to talk to my professor and see which one he thinks I should take. I also just purchased a Canon XT, so no more film photography for me!
Job: I have started my job search for the year. I turned down a Account Rep job for a medical staffing company this week. I could have done the job, but everyone at this company had the Car Salesmen look and attitude so I just could not trust them. Any job that has a turn over rate of 30% (according to the Car Salesmen types, so it is probably more like 40%) just sounds bad. At my current job I am being moved into more updating of our corporate store websites. I also suggested to the owner that they need to get a Purchasing Manager again and that I would be a great candidate. But they don't want to fill that job right now, further evidence that this is a dead end job.
Finally I went to zenbitch's wedding last weekend. The ceremony was beautiful ceremony and reception was lots of fun. Congrats again Lillian!
