Al and I just got back after 5 days in San Diego - Quick Recap:
W: tried to post rough itinerary on LJ but failed, arrived SD, saw Sea World (not a total waste of time, but won't do it again), checked into the Park Manor, had dinner at Brians (yum - bears and mac and cheese)
Th: breakfast at Brians, saw wild animal park (was pretty cool, but not on the list of multiple visits), walked around the Gas Lamp Quarter, ate dinner at Brians (Gas Lamp)
Fr: breakfast at Brians again, off to the San Diego Zoo (great zoo, could do multiple visits just because it is one of the best), ate at Guadalajaras in Old Town, was going head out to PECS but too much food and too much margarita bodes ill for Joel
Sat: shopping at Old Town, Urban Mos for a burger, tooled around the Del Coranado, Eragon in the Gas Lamp, then ate at Freds Mexican Cafe, was going to head out to PECS again but there seemed to be some MSG in the popcorn or pretzel I had earlier which put me down for the count - damn it.
Sun: woke up free of my msg allergy, went to Brians for a farewell breakfast, and then off to the airport, and back to MN.
Overall, I had a good time, I wish I had made it out to the clubs to meet the local bears - oh well, next time . . .
