Christmas break is so close. . . if I can just make it through finals. I'm really excited about having some free time again. I can't wait to go back to the beach and bike ride and watch tv and forget about physics and chemistry for a while. I'm also looking forward to seeing everyone again. I hope we can have some more movie nights and other get-togethers. I wonder if Ryan has finished editing the movie yet. . .
This week has actually been relatively easy, but I'm so anxious for break to be here that it's seeming to drag on and on. I really love this time of year. Philip gave me some multicolored lights for my birthday. I strung them up around the room and they look really festive. I'm also going to a Christmas party this Friday and my dorm is throwing an all campus party on Saturday night. This means I probably won't be able to come home for Narbonne's play (sorry Dylan, Chris and any other drama people).
In other news I got my schedule for next semester today. Here's what I'll be taking:
Biology-- should be pretty easy. This is the one class I might have been able to pass out of but I was too lazy to review all the details I would have had to remember to pass the placement exam.
Differential Equations (first half)/Multivariable Calculus (second half)
Physics Lab
Chem Lab
PE-- stupid requirement if you ask me, but it's only twice a week so it should be ok. Plus I'm taking swimming so that should be fun.
Humanities 2
General Chemistry
Physics-- not my favorite subject but next semester it's going to be mechanics which should be a lot easier than relativity and quantum which is what we had this semester
That seems like a lot, but I think I'll be able to handle it. And thankfully I have a month off before I have to think about it.
Oh yeah, I had a great birthday. Thanks to everyone for the phone calls, livejournal posts, and emails. You guys really make me feel special.
