Welcome Week at has come to an end, and classes start tomorrow. I'm looking forward to classes, because even though it's been great meeting new people and doing so many things I miss routine and knowing what I'm going to do each day. Sure, a little variety is fine, but I'm feeling disconnected from family and friends and with some routine I would be able to more regularly keep in touch with them. Jobin told my parents he missed me. It really has been a fun time these past few days. I've been doing community service with MCSP students, Maize Craze, Meijer Madness, the Michigan Game with Dan, the Dance Trilogy, attending mass at St. Mary's Student Parish (where I met another Catholic Indian), learning poker and catchphrase, learning different kinds of Indian dances, looking up Asian student groups like SAAN (South Asian Awareness Network), finally starting to get familar w/ the AA area, and coming across so many different kinds of people. I love it here.
