i have spent the past week at home quite unproductively. i have wasted countless hours in front of the idiot box and the more recent invention, the "internet." so many hours that cannot be retrieved. i will now make it a point to enjoy every minute of my television and computer experiences and not to waste time on mediocre programming.
this last sunday afternoon was whittled away at the mall. it was quite a task finding a parking spot when we first arrived. there were many aggressive drivers. the first spot was stolen by some jackass. the second spot was nearly stolen by a more reasonable jackass who knew what was good for him and vacated the spot after artur honked the horn and made angry gestures at him (upon which i promptly hid behind the dashboard). this all transpired whilst i suffered greatly from the urgency of my bladder.
arriving at the apple store, i entered their restroom. the first toilet seat cover was promptly swallowed up by the toilet. my second attempt was much more successful; however, the cover became stuck to the seat and was not disposed of upon initial flushing. in an attempt to activate the automatic flush, i pretended to sit upon the seat temporarily. alas, to no avail. the manual flush button on the side of the detector proved much more effective.
simpsons, simpsons, family guy, american dad. the last one was a real laugh riot. unfortunately, feasting upon delectable little cakes with the reckless abandon of the lactose tolerant took its toll in middle of the episode and i'm sure i missed some good punchlines. (upon closer inspection, maison de patisserie and cocola across the street are really the same bakery with two different names... and they both kinda suck). mental note: download most recent episode of american dad.
i spent most of last night (morning, technically) watching adult swim. sealab > ATHF. i don't understand the appeal of aqua teen hunger force. fyi, the best show on television is currently the venture bros. don't miss it. the senseless toilet humor of adult swim makes me tingle. i suppose it's rubbed off on me too much (or just in this lj entry).
