Kittens...
So...a stray cat walked up to our house about a year and a half ago. She had a litter of kittens which are now all grown up. About 4 months ago, a very tiny kitten showed up on our doorstep (no doubt drawn in by the other cats) and decided to make her home wandering around our house, too. Well, both of these cats were recently taken advantage of by one of the neighborhood beaus and so we found ourselves with two litters of kittens. Sadly, a few very unfortunate accidents occured, a few kittens were lost, as well as one of the mothers. Now, we have but six kittens. For the past 2 weeks I have been trying my damndest to find a no-kill shelter to take the kittens to, but because it's "kitten season," they're just about all full. In a last ditch attempt to give these kittens good homes, I'm advertising them on my live journal. They're still young, so though they're technically stray, can be taught to cooperate with humans (ask Greg McGoon- he took one of the kittens from a previous litter). I could never forgive myself if I had to take them to a shelter, because they'd probably be euthanized the same day, but my dad won't let them stay here. Plus, there's nothing creepier than coming home at 2am and seeing 10 cats in your yard, all keeping perfectly still and staring at you as you walk up to your house.
