First Book: Lost: Endangered Species
First Character? Faith Harrington, an Environmentalist who's wracked with pain and guilt apparently. We couldn't focus on Scott, or Steve, or Joanna, or Rose, or Tracey, or Leslie Arzt? Someone who's name's at least been mentioned in the series?

Seaira, my frighteningly funny niece, wore all black to school on Tuesday - said "Mother, I'm in mourning" when Julie asked her. She's mourning the passing of Rosa Parks. Seaira thinks that she, herself, is black. Gotta love pre-teens.
