There are several friendships i'd love to rekindle before graduation but unfortunately when friendships break off or die, it's usually a permanent thing. Sometimes it's even for the better. That's not really an answer to your question, you wanted names and situations. Here's the answer to your question.
Paras - I'd love to rekindle my friendship with him although it was fairly rough at times. As much as I hate what he did to me and how he treated me I miss having him as one of my best friends. It's hard to see him in the halls or hear about him from other people and not have anything to say to him. I can honestly say I don't know him anymore and a part of me wishes i still did.
Gillian - I'm not exactly sure what happened to our friendship, but it seems to have been blindsided by something or another. Hopefully we'll be able to work things out because of all the mutual friends that we've got. I think it's more the stress of school than anything that's causing the often times palpable tension.
Amanda - At times I want to rekindle my friendship with her for no other reason than the fact that she was a part of my life for such a long time. I guess I just want to feel like last summer was not a mistake or a waste of time and being friends with her might prove that? Who knows.
