I am now part of a band. After six years, I'm finally part of a band. We've practiced a couple times, and even during the first time, we sounded awesome. We got someone from the Hartt School (woo7!!) on the drums, a fellow STNer on the keyboard, good friend on guitar/vocals, and of course i'm playing bass. i've been getting better, i just wish i could easily play faster. it's gonna take a little more time. but yeah! word!
i'm done with that independent study, that was a trip. at least it's over. but it's definitely inspired more thought for this game that will and i want to do. we want to start designing over the winter. since we'll both be here.
i want to get an actual job for the spring. and hopefully start it during the course of january. i can see myself doing that soon. i'd be happy.
i can't wait to start living back home, back with my friends. this is bullshit, what's going on right now. dorm life is okay, but i'm getting more and more agitated by the fact that there are so many noises, and especially living right next to that loud ass shower. BUT i'm happy in general.
