Charity knitting. A British drinks company called
Innocent Drinks has sent out an alarm call for knitted hats. They have these
knitting patterns for you to make wee caps for the tops of their bottles. The money raised for these tops goes to age concern.

The sheep wearing my hat is called Purlo. My friend saw it (while travelling through Wales) and thought of me. Hmmm, I wonder why.

I'm down for making six strawberries. Have stalled at five. My knit picks/knit pro needles are giving me trouble, so I need to send them back to the supplier and ask for another pair. Boo.

Nom nom nom. Strawberries.

That's how it will look like in the wild.
Due to a neat stroke of luck, there are now three people who are writing Ultimates Tony better than I* . Alas, the third person's latest stuff isn't up yet. Oh well, we carry on, I hear. So have two:

empty_splendor. There are many reasons to read this fic but I will restrain myself to two. One, it's very much Tony thinking about his teammates, his surroundings, his life. Considering that people tend not to look beyond the 'flash' of Ultimates Tony and you know what I mean - the wine, women and song - they tend to miss the point that he might be well.... capable of introspection. Second, it's such an Ultimates Tony voice, with wry humour and snark. It's so real, I find that I want to buy him a drink (although it will be like carrying coals to Newcastle), and rubbing the small of his back while his medicines get the better of him.
Then there's

tsukinofaerii who's trying to write him into a fic - with him getting sober. *snerk* Encourage her to finish, please.
As for me? I'm... researching stuff for fic, and am hoping to finish my sixth strawberry cap. They might look simple, but knitters will realise how fiddly these are when I say the two words: fairisle and i-cord.
*A fair few people do, but alas. They tend not to post as often as they should.
